The event "Vellamunda Nizhalum Nilavum" (Vellamunda: Shadow and Moonlight) by Rafeeq Vellamunda, organized under the aegis of the Vellamunda Grama Panchayat, was a notable success. Mananthavady MLA Smt. Usha Vijayan inaugurated the event, which was presided over by Panchayat President Smt. T.M. Kamar Laila. Writer and journalist Sri O.K. Johny performed the book launch.
